Ash is an Advanced Practice Social Worker who is focused on empowering and uplifting clients with marginalized identities using a strength-based approach. As a queer, transgender, and nonbinary therapist, he has experience treating, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ clients, as well as his lived experience with mental health and identity issues. He also has experience working with clients who struggle with addiction or addictive behaviors. Ash focuses on all aspects of the client and how they interact with each other to create unique struggles, such as race, gender, disability, or sexuality. He works with clients to find healthy sources of acceptance, happiness, and passion in their lives.
Education and Training
Ash graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
