Susan Townsley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been practicing since 1993. She works with anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, reactive attachment disorder, couples, families, individuals and children. Susan partners with her clients to begin a journey of healing.  She believes in meeting her clients where they are with dignity and respect and walking with them to meet the goals they have for themselves and their relationships.

Education and Training

Susan attained her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Duke University in 1987.  She received a Masters Degree in Social Work and a Masters Degree in Business from Columbia University in 1993.  Susan has advanced training in EMDR, Child Parent Psychotherapy and Theraplay.  

 

Professional Affiliations

Susan is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, The Vernon County Trauma Task Force and the Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health.  

 

Special Interests

Susan has focused her work in healing individuals of all ages from trauma and creating connection and attachment in relationships. She also has specialized training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Stress Management, and Mindfulness.
